Look at this picture:

You'll see the Style Settings menue at the top of your site.
You can choose some Zoints standard styles for example. Then click on "Edit style".
It should look something like that:

Now you can save a copy of that style with all changes made by yourself. You should play around and try.

You can also browse through other member styles and use them. Hopefully this helps a little bit.
